Harvard Researcher Michael Risse has authored a number of papers concerning immigration. The paper titled "The Morality of Immigration" argues that immigration is "a moral problem that must be considered in the context of global justice...and that the earth belongs to humanity in common and this matters for assessing immigration policy." He focuses on immigration to the United States, but with the intention of applying his argument more generally to include global immigration issues.
